We’re at your service! Here’s a list of all of the services we offer you. Please note all items not packed by A1 Best Movers,we will assume no responsibility for damage. Please ensure your glass, fragile items (includes all high value electronics {TV/PC, etc}, and mattress are all packed before move. This helps speed up the process of the move.

Please make sure the mover you choose is registered with the Texas Department of Transportation, Bonded, Insured, Better Business Bureau. Please make note of the following rules that apply to movers and its customers.
* A movers liability is only .60 per pound for an article that is damaged. Unless the mover and customer agree on a higher amount for an item. So if you had a 100lb TV liability for the mover is $60.00.
* A1 Best Movers is now offering additional insurance for your shipment. If you care to have this service please contact our office so we can take and inventory of your shipment, and pictures of some of the high value items. This premium insurance is added cost to your move, the cost is extra above the agreed charges associated with your move.
* All moves booked in advance must be booked with a credit card to secure move date. A cancellation fee will be charged if customer cancels. Additionally, if move is cancelled at day of move without legitimate cause customer will be charged 3hr. minimum charge plus trip/Fuel charge and surcharges, all charges are nonrefundable. All credit information is purged after move is complete. Please understand this ensures some surety in the planning of moves and does not impact other customers or our employees.
* A1 Best Movers reserves the right to refuse service of certain items or the full move. It is imperative customers are accurate with their items, do not try to hide or add additional items without giving A1 Best Movers ample time to accomodate more cube space or volume.
* Any item not packaged by A1 Best Movers, we accept zero responsibility for damage. All glass, fragile items must be properly packed to ensure safety of items. If items are not packed properly A1 Best Movers accept zero responsibility for damage.
* All glass, fragile items must be packed properly prior to your move. This also applies to high end electronics, pc equipment, TV's (HDTV/Plasma), and stereo equipment. Please have original box or properly pack items. If they are not packed properly A1 Best Movers assumes no liability for any damage to items. Additionally we recommend mattress covers to prevent dirt on your mattress.
* Any exceptions (damage) must be brought to movers attention upon the end of the move and notated on the survey form. A1 Best Movers will not accept any responsibility for items damaged after we have left location. The customer still has the right for 90 days to contest this in writing, but unless noted before movers leave we will not accept any claim. Please understand its imperative you account for your items and inspect them for any damage before you sign our survey form. Please bring all complaints to your crew leader.
* All flat rate quotes can't exceed more than 10% of what the customer was quoted. Furthermore, customer has the right to pay the additional amount if it exceeds the original quote within 90 days. All written quotes when provide are non-binding, because the price may change if fuel or mileage may exceed original estimate.
* All hot checks will be charged an additional $45.00 service charge and will be reported to the local district attorneys office. If payment is not submitted within 30 days of original move court fees will also be charge to customer. If you dont have the funds dont write the check!
* Also, please tip your movers it is a very common practice. Tip the crew a $15 - $20 tip is appropriate per man.

* House Plants
* Live Animals/Humans
* Firearms or Ammunition
* Riding Lawnmower
* Antiques of High Value Items
* Large Copy Machines
* Vending Machines
* Garbage
* Hot Tubs & Spas
* Pool Table
* Grand Piano/Baby Grand
* Large Swing Sets (Rainbow, etc)
* Trampoline
* Yard Art or Stones
*Note: Additionally, we do not accept donations, if there is something you want to donate please take care of this prior to your move date. Do not attempt to sell or give items to employees.
* Also, we do not move items out of Atics, please make arrangements to have items unloaded to your garage or ground floor.

All of our out of town moves are quoted on a flat rate basis. Additionally, before you contact us please fill out the on-line quote form and provide accurate address information for delivery and pick up. This will assist us to quantify the mileage/hours for your flat rate price. |

* Special items of significant weight ( Big Screen TV, Pianos {1st floor to 1st floor only}, Gym Sets or Weight Sets. All of the listed items will be charged an additional surcharge. If items are moved upstairs additional surcharges will apply.
Most assembly is at no charge to your move ie (take the beds apart), in some cases we do charge a flat rate charge for assembly. Please contact the office to get details.

Packing Service

A1 Best Movers, offers full service packing and sale of boxes and packing materials for your household goods. If you purchase your packing materials we will deliver for free to your location (conditions apply according to area). Please contact our office for rates on boxes, bubble, newsprint, shrink wrap, dish packs, picture frame boxes, peanuts, mattress covers and labor service.

A1 Best Movers now provides the men or just the labor to meet your budget. Customer must supply the the proper equipment to move all items ie dollies, pads, and ratchet stamps. We also can provide the man power to drive vehicle to its destination anywhere in the USA.
* A1 Best Movers is not responsible for any damage if customer packs items.
* A Fuel/Trip charge is charged based on distance.
Driving Rates are quoted based on the move and destination. Please contact our office for more details or send us an email.
If your move consists of ABF trailer or POD please contact our office for a rate. Authorized UHAUL affiliate - so contact us to book a UHAUL for your move.
